Harlem Week 2012

Harlem Week 2012 (Saturday and Sunday) This year's multicultural celebration, "Harlem: Where the World Meets the World," includes fashion shows, live entertainment, a variety of vendors and more. The event takes place along 135th Street, starting at St. Nicholas Avenue. On Saturday and Sunday a children's festival, at the Henry Highland Garnet Outdoor Plaza (between Malcolm X and Adam Clayton Powell Junior Boulevards), will feature a petting zoo, rides, games and booths focusing on the importance of healthy living.
